On Jibboom Street, just behind commercial Row, don’t miss the Old Truckee Jail; stop and take a tour for some real Truckee history. Also, a site to see is Donner Memorial State Park, with a monument and museum marking the path of the infamous Donner Party. Just a short drive from Truckee is Tahoe City and beautiful Lake Tahoe.
